Elements of mechatronics
2. Course description:
Lecture: The existence and the definition of mechatronics as elements of the diverse structure: mechanic, hydraulic,
pneumatic, optical, electric, electronic and computer science. Approaches in mechatronics – examples of technical
solutions classical and in mechatronics. Sensoring and measuring system as the information system. Mechanical and
non mechanical measuring sizes.
Ranking of sensor devices. Positions sensors and basics in mechanics. Microsensors. Elements and application.
Classification and the principles of operation of applications. The structure and the principles of operation of
applications: electromagnetics, electrohydraulics and elektropneumatics. Mechatronics drives. Gearbox as application
set. Mechatronic clutch. Electronic synchronization of moves. Design of mechatronics. Tasks for mechatronic systems.
Functional structure; models and methods of creating it. Obtaining information about the process. Designing the tool.
Problems of steering in arrangements mechatronics. Tasks for mechatronic systems. Functional structure; models and
methods of creating it. Obtaining information about the process. Of designing the tool. Problems of steering in
arrangements of mechatronic.
Chosen problems of the production engineering of arrangements of mechatronic.

theory of machines, electro technology and electronics, ICT, automation
4. Aim of the course:
Acquainting with the latest trend of the structure integrated machines and devices sharing certain „inteligence” features.
Mechatronics is interdisciplinary area integrating mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, optics, automatics and
computer science. Mechatronics design forces different, more comprehensive and system approach towards problems
and producing machines and other devices
