Logistics in enterprise<br />

2. Course destription<br />

Lecture<br />

Organization of logistics in eneterprises: conception of logistic organization, circumstance and stage in development of<br />

logistics, logistics in structure of enterprise management, logistics in corporation enetrprise. Supply logistics: basic<br />

purchasing function, purchasing organization, analysis of purchasing market. Production logistics: classification of<br />

production processes, definitions, goals and planning standards of prodution flow. MRP system. MRP II system. ERP<br />

system. JIT conception. Kanban. Inventory management: ABC method, XYZ method, definitions of stocks,<br />

transportation inside enterprise. Distribution logistics: goals of distribution logistics, marketing channels of distribution,<br />

logistic centre of distribution, logistic customer service. DRP system, ECR strategy, CRM strategy. Transportation and<br />

warehousing in logistics systems. Classification of stores. Equipment of stores. Information syatem in logistic. Support<br />

system used in logistic. Wrapping in logistic system.<br />

Classes<br />

Imperting the practical knowledge about logistic organization of enerprises and acquring practice of diagnosis and<br />

<strong>im</strong>provement of logistic activities in production, trade and service firms. There are solving problems – case study.<br />

4. Learning outcomes<br />

Students are able to forecast the directions of logistics’ development i contemporary enterprises, build the model of materials<br />

streaming’ s optymalization in logistic system, diagnose and point the <strong>im</strong>provement program for logistic activities in firms.<br />
