1. Course title:
Production processes and techniques II
2. Course contents:
Lecture:
During the lectures the students will be presented a basic knowledge of processes and techniques of production,
individual operations and processes in technologic processes, students should gain the skill of production process
selection and skill of preparing a documentation to production flow. Lecture contents: Optimization of production
processes’ flow. Designing of production systems – serial and unique production, groups technology, flexible
production systems. Files and control of production flow. Documentation of production flow. Examples of chosen
production processes in different techniques fields.
Laboratory:
During the exercises the students will practice various methods of production organization and control through building
simulation models of production system. The contents of the laboratory: Introduction to modelling, simulation and
optimization of production system. Production process common model building, its simulation and optimisation -
iGrafx Process for Six Sigma modeling and simulation software. Production process model building (single-handed)
and its optimization. Implementation of various production organization methods to the computer models and their
comparative analysis.
3. Prerequisites
None.
4. Learning outcomes:
Student is familiar with methods, techniques and types of production planning in a production company. Student has the
skills from the area of planning, organization and control of production processes.
