The computer science- DataBases<br />

2. Course contents<br />

Laboratory<br />

The economic usage of the DataBases, planning DataBases: the definitions of the DataBases,the models of the creation,<br />

the basis one- the conceptual (the definition of entity and its attributes, the correlations between them and their<br />

characteristics), for <strong>im</strong>plementation, the creation of the data bases: the <strong>im</strong>plementation project, tables’ structure, the<br />

types of data, the main and foreign keys, the types of correlation. Work with data included by the data base, the methods<br />

of filtration and sorting the data, the projects of kwerends, creating them, interface of the user, elaboration of<br />

assumptions for the database, creating of the own database, the elements of programming database systems, the<br />

example of usage of the relation DataBase.<br />

4. Learning outcomes<br />

The student knows the basics of informatics knowledge on the use of modern software: he has practical skills in<br />

computer hardware, uses information technology to prepare their own intellectual work shop, knows the principles of<br />

construction, design and operation of relational databases, knows how to use modern application software for creating<br />

databases , uses a database management system for the tasks in economics.<br />
