this sport. Continuing the valley tour, we come
across the Scrivia Valley. Crocefieschi is the
starting point of two trekking favourites; a route
leading to the sporting structures in Braia Park or
the path to Rocche del Reopasso. On the border of
Valbisagno and alta Val Trebbia the highest
municipality of Liguria is to be found, at 1118 m
above sea level: from Fascia, in Casa del Romano,
the path to Mount Antola and Mount Carmo
begins, and one can also visit the Astronomical
Observatory. Mount Antola also appears on the
Caprile circuit, departing from Caprile. Another
circuit leaves from Pentema, and takes four hours
to complete. Last, but not least is Brugneto Lake,
which boasts a track equipped to facilitate
walkers. Sport in the Genoese region means
satisfying all tastes, as its unique and varied
landscapes can accommodate an equally
diversified range of sporting possibilities; sport in

be thrilled by the intense emotions inspired by a

Yacht Club Italiano
They say that the Genoese are the
most Britannic of Italy, and that is
how the Italian Yacht club came to
be. It is the only Genoese association
that can boast not having the name
of the city included in its title,
because when you say 'Yacht Club', it
is implicit of Genoa. The Italian Yacht
Club, founded at the end of the
nineteenth century, is the oldest
mediterranean sailing club. It hosts
one of the most prestigious sailing
schools, right next to the historical
headquarters of the club, are the
famous canoeing schools: Rowing
and Elpis.
