BABA RESHI GULMARAG INCIDENT - 1.7.93, the forces were atacked from a<br />
nearby mounta<strong>in</strong>. However, the forces after some time started fir<strong>in</strong>g and killed<br />
number <strong>of</strong> civilians who had come to the shr<strong>in</strong>e. The unarmed and <strong>in</strong>nocent<br />
persons who were <strong>in</strong> the barracks received bullet <strong>in</strong>juries. N<strong>in</strong>e persons <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g a<br />
lady were killed. The names <strong>of</strong> the killed are Ghulam Nabi Khan son <strong>of</strong> Ghulam<br />
Hassan Khan resident <strong>of</strong> Gani Mohalla Jamia Masjid, Sr<strong>in</strong>agar, Mst. Hamid wife<br />
<strong>of</strong> Ghulam Nabi Khan resident <strong>of</strong> Jamia Masjhid, Sgr, Mohd Yousuf Lone son <strong>of</strong><br />
Ghulam Ahmad resident <strong>of</strong> Palpora Noorbagh, Mohd Rafiq Mir son <strong>of</strong> Abdul Aziz<br />
resident <strong>of</strong> Zampa Kadal, Chhatabal, Nisar Ahmad (Bilal Ahmad ) resident <strong>of</strong><br />
Mysoma, Ghulam Hassan Najar, Farooq Ahmad, Mohd Ramzan residents <strong>of</strong> Pattan<br />
Baramulla, and Bilal Ahmad Mattoo <strong>of</strong> Mysoma. The identity <strong>of</strong> other killed<br />
persons could not be ascerta<strong>in</strong>ed on spot.<br />
DEVBUG TANGMARG INCIDENT - 2.7.93 due to the fir<strong>in</strong>g by the forces five<br />
persons namely Fayaz Ahmad Waza <strong>of</strong> Malapora, Nisar Ahmad Rather <strong>of</strong> Utkoo,<br />
Ghulam Mohiudd<strong>in</strong> Khandey alias Waseem <strong>of</strong> Tangmarg, Ghulam Ahmad Malik<br />
<strong>of</strong> Harda Shiva Sopore and Bashir Ahmad Yattoo <strong>of</strong> Muglipora Baramulla were<br />
killed.<br />
SOPORE INCIDENT - 2.7.93 the forces fired <strong>in</strong>discrimnately on a passenger<br />
Matador bear<strong>in</strong>g No: 7229 and a passenger bus bear<strong>in</strong>g No 4905 com<strong>in</strong>g from<br />
Hajan to Baramulla. Due to <strong>in</strong>discrim<strong>in</strong>ate fir<strong>in</strong>g one boy namely Alm D<strong>in</strong> son <strong>of</strong><br />
Shamasudd<strong>in</strong> resident <strong>of</strong> Gagal Kupwara aged 12 years and a lady namely Mst.<br />
Hanifa wife <strong>of</strong> Abdul Rashid Shah resident <strong>of</strong> Kalam Chaklz Handwara were<br />
killed.<br />
SOPORE INCIDENT - 3.7.93 the forces fired at Dangerpora due to which three<br />
unarmed civilians namely Bashir Ahmad Naiokoo son <strong>of</strong> Ghulam Rasoiol, Fayaz<br />
Ahmad Khan son <strong>of</strong> Abdul Rahim and Arshad Ahmad Lone son <strong>of</strong> Ghulam<br />
Hassazn all residents <strong>of</strong> Sopore were killed.<br />
KUPWARA ALC INCIDENT - 3.7.93, as reported on the nmedia one person was<br />
allegedly killed <strong>in</strong> an encounter near the A.L.C.<br />
CHOGAL KUPWARA INCIDENT - 3.7.93 dur<strong>in</strong>g crackdown operations the<br />
army killed four persons namely Mohd zMaqbool s <strong>of</strong> Manzipora Chadoora, Mohd<br />
Ramzan <strong>of</strong> Bem<strong>in</strong>a, Ali Mohammad <strong>of</strong> Ratnipora Pulwama and Shabir Ahmad<br />
alias Sher Khan <strong>of</strong> Khanda Pulwama.<br />
BUTMALOO BUS STAND INCIDENT - 3.7.94 the forces fired on a matador<br />
No:1834-JKD on 3.7.93 due to which three persons namely Mohd Latif Khan<br />
resident <strong>of</strong> Kalaros Kupwara aged 12 years, Mohd Ahsan resident <strong>of</strong> Bihar putt<strong>in</strong>g<br />
up at Bem<strong>in</strong>a Colony Sr<strong>in</strong>agar and Shaulkat Ali resident <strong>of</strong> Nagrota Jammu were<br />
