Unjustified Kill<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong> <strong>Kashmir</strong> - Page 4<br />

Sept - Nov 1993<br />

WATERGAM BARAMULLA INCIDENT - 1.9.93, two persons, namely, Altaf<br />

Hussan Dar R/O Watergam Wagoora and Ab.Ahad Hajam R/O Watergam<br />

Baramulla were killed due to the fir<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

VERIMURAN PULWAMA INCIDENT - 2.9.93, the forces while cordon<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong><br />

the areas <strong>of</strong> Veri and Hardev Pora fired on the persons who were walk<strong>in</strong>g towards<br />

other villages and thereby six persons were killed due to the fir<strong>in</strong>g by forces<br />

namely, Ab Gani Mir, Bilal Ahmad Shah, Md.Mustaffa Residents <strong>of</strong> Muran, Md.<br />

Yousf Bhat , Ab Qayoom Wani , Ab.Qayum Dar Resiodents <strong>of</strong> Muran Pulwama.<br />

BUDGAM INCIDENT - 3.9.93, forces <strong>in</strong> civil dress pos<strong>in</strong>g as militants entered<br />

the area and tied one Gh Mohi-ul-D<strong>in</strong> with a tree and then showered bullets at him<br />

and killed him on spot. The forces then <strong>in</strong> civil dresses fired and killed many others<br />

namely Habib Ullah Sheikh, Md.Akbar Bhat , Nazir Ahmad Ahanger all residents<br />

<strong>of</strong> Dostt Budgam.<br />

SHOPIAN RAMWAH INCIDENT - 3.9.93 the forces fired <strong>in</strong>discrim<strong>in</strong>ately on the<br />

passers by due to which five persons namely Gulzar Ahmad Dobhi, Reyaz Ahmad,<br />

Md.Shaban Najar R/O Kaloora , Hilal Ahmad R/O Chitra Gam and Gh Hassan<br />

Kumar R/O Arihal were killed.<br />

ALC GULMARG INCIDENT - 4.9.93 as per the media reports 9 alleged militants<br />

were killed <strong>in</strong> an encounter at Gulmarg while cross<strong>in</strong>g the Border. However, the<br />

identity <strong>of</strong> the killed persons has not been disclosed to their relatives till date.<br />

BABA RESHI INCIDENT - 4.9.93 the forces fired <strong>in</strong> the forest area on the<br />

shepherds who were look<strong>in</strong>g after their cattle. The names <strong>of</strong> the killed are Farooq<br />

Ahmad Dagga R/O Rajouri, Sadiq Ahmad R/O Ppoonch and Sagir Chaki.<br />

AKHRAN GATH DODA INCIDENT - 6.9.93 due to the fir<strong>in</strong>g by the forces three<br />

persons namely Ab Rehman R/O Cheham Doda , Nazir Ahmad Bhat R/O Phagwan<br />

and Des Raj R/O Doda were killed.<br />

SOPORA DOABAGAH INCIDENT - 8.9.93 the forces dur<strong>in</strong>g crack-down<br />

operations <strong>in</strong> the area fired due to which 4 persons namely, Abu Faras, Abu Yousf<br />

, Abu Umar and Abu Nayeem were killed.<br />

HYHAMA KUPWARA INCIDENT - 13.9.93 as per the media reports six alleged<br />

militants were killed by the forces <strong>in</strong> the border area. The identity has not been<br />

disclosed nor dead bodies has been handed over to their relatives till date.<br />

AJUS BANDIPORA INCIDENT - 16.9. 93 the forces dur<strong>in</strong>g crack-down<br />

operations <strong>in</strong> Bandipora areas killed eight persons due to the fir<strong>in</strong>g namely,<br />

Shaheen Kangi, Nazir Ahmad Waza R/o Ajas Akhal, Reyaz Ahmad Neyazi R/O<br />
