DIVING WORLD SERIES<br />
History:<br />
The inaugural edition of the <strong>FINA</strong> Diving World Series (WS) took place in September 2007 in three<br />
cities: Sheffield (GBR), Mexico (MEX) and Nanjing (CHN). The idea behind this new competiton is<br />
to feature the best divers of the season, creating a spectacular event, broadcasted by TV and<br />
capable of distributing higher prize money to the athletes.<br />
