The commications equipment is housed in a large room on the second floor of the Provincial Headquarters. The equipment is old and inefficient. Voice tranamission is practically impossible and all traffic that does get through goes by CW. Two secondary stations have been installed in Morondara (35 W) and Fort Dauphin (50 W). 7. important improvement work is being done in the harbor in order to accoodaena medium tonnage ships. Port installations here are under the direct jurisdiction of the National Police. They had no particular police problems to report. D. Fort Dauph 1.
