United Coal Company – one of the leading producers
of coking coal in the USA. The company's proven reserves
constitute 160m tonnes of high quality coal. The company's
annual coking coal production capacity is about 6m tonnes.
Metallurgical division
Azovstal Steel Plant – one of the leaders in Ukraine's
metallurgy, it is a modern, highly effective integrated enterprise
– from coke and sinter production to steelmaking
and the production of high quality long and flat rolled products.
The plant's annual production capacity is 5.7m tonnes
of cast iron, 6.2m tonnes of steel, and 5.2m tonnes of rolled
produts. In May 2011 the plant has completely forgone
the use of open-hearth blast furnaces for steelmaking in favor
of the oxygen converters.
Ilyich Steel Plant in Mariupol – one of the largest companies
in Ukraine with a full steel production cycle. The plant’s
annual production capacity is 7.3m tonnes of steel, 12.2m
tonnes of agglomerate, more than 5.6m tonnes of cast iron,
and more than 7.5m tonnes of rolled products.
Yenakiyevo Steel Plant (YeMZ) and Makeyevka YeMZ
Branch – the world leaders in steel billet production. The
plant’s annual production capacity is 3.1m tonnes of cast
iron, 2.7m tonnes of steel and approximately 0.5m tonnes
of rolled products. Makeyevka YeMZ Branch (previously –
Makeyevka Steel Plant) produces high quality rolled products
and is equipped with the most modern steel rolling mills
in Ukraine.
Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant (KHTZ) – the largest producer
of straight-seamed electro-welded large diameter steel piping
in the CIS. The plant's annual production capacity is 1m
tonnes of pipes.
Promet Steel JSC (Bulgaria) – a modern-technology steel
rolling plant, producing rolled sections and structural shapes
using the continuous casting technology.
Ferriera Valsider (Italy) – a steel plant producing structural
rolled products. The plant's annual production capacity is
0.4m tonnes of heavy plates and 0.6m tonnes of hot-rolled
coil.

Metinvest Trametal S.p.A. (Italy) – a leader in Italian and
European markets in structural carbon steel plates.
Spartan UK Ltd. (United Kingdom) – the only producer
of high-quality steel plates in the United Kingdom. The
plant's annual production capacity is approximately 0.2m
tonnes of heavy plates.
Metinvest Resource – an exclusive supplier of black metal
scrap to Metinvest Group's enterprises (Azovstal, YeMZ, Ilyich
Steel Plant). The company's annual supply capacity is approximately
2m tonnes of scrap.
Avdeyevka Coke and Chemical Plant (AKHZ) – the largest
modern-technology company in Europe’s coking coal industry
producing coke and chemical products.
INKOR and Co – one of the largest chemical products (naphtalene,
phenol, cresol) manufacturers in the CIS and Europe.
The enterprise's annual production capacity is 60,000 tonnes
of naphtalene and up to 10,000 tonnes of phenol and cresol.
Kondratyevo Refractory Plant – one of the largest producers
of refractory products for metallurgy in Ukraine.
Logistics
Skif Shipping – the leading national transportation and dispatch
company, servicing cargoes in Ukraine's largest ports
and transporting cargoes all over Ukraine and beyond. The
company owns more than 1,600 units of rolling stock, port
crane, and forklifts.
