t some point in everyone’s life they get burned out
and feel that they have lost their way. That happened to me. I
started to feel that I was becoming stagnant and had no clear
path to the things that I wanted to achieve. I felt a change of
scenery was in order. Now, to bring you up to speed, I had
signed up for yoga and art retreat in Provence, the South of
France for two weeks over a year ago and the timing could
not have been any better. I really didn’t have any expectations
about the other people on the retreat, the only thing I knew
was I was the only male in a group of eighteen females. The
only real expectation I had was not to come home with an
impressive art journal since I was deprived of creativity and
connection. As the trip progressed I found myself visiting with
a different group of ladies each day and was absolutely blown
away by these individuals. I was surrounded by creative,
intellectual people who were all very much accomplished in
to put into words when you feel such a connection with a group
of people who have the ability to give you that recharge you
are in need of. It was at this moment I thought, maybe you
scenery. Maybe all you need is to connect with new individuals
and experience the synergy that is created when like-minded
individuals interact. As the week went on I found myself
wanting to work more and more on my art journal because I
simply couldn’t remember all the ideas I was constantly having.
