The painters Alexandre-Évariste Fragonard and Pierre-Nolasque Bergeret furnished the military drawings displayed here and nearby for a series of bas-relief sculptures that decorated the exterior of this building. The Palais Bourbon in Paris (today the<br />

<strong>National</strong> Assembly) became the seat <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Corps législatif (Legislative Body) during<br />

the Empire. The painters Alexandre-Évariste<br />

Fragonard and Pierre-Nolasque Bergeret<br />
