As an actress, she’s the ultimate combination of professionalism and<br />

emotionality, with a great love for her profession and an open mind to what is<br />

happening in the world.<br />

She played leading roles in over 40 plays, from - among others - Shakespeare,<br />

Garcia Lorca, Strindberg, T.Williams, Srbljanovics and Tom Lanoy. She started<br />

her film career with a leading role internationally, alongside Catherine<br />

Deneuve and Denis Lavant in “La partie d’echecs”, and later on in “Olivetti<br />

82” alongside Dirk Roofthooft.<br />

<strong>Hilde</strong> played great roles in TV series such as Catherine in “We Alexander”,<br />

Gina in “180” (directed by Jakob Verbruggen/Menuet), “Matroesjka’s” 1 and 2 ,<br />

“Wolven” (release 2013), “De Rodenburgs”, “Vermist” etc..<br />

<strong>Hilde</strong> creates performances (for the University of Antwerp), together with<br />

Tuur Florizoone and Alain Pringels for the honory doctorates in 2012 of Luc<br />

Devroye, Benard McGinn, Peter J.Katzenstein, Harald zur Hauzen and doctoris<br />

honoris causa Franco Dragone.<br />

She played the part of “a grand actrice” in “Parade’s End”, a new TV series<br />

for HBO/BBC 2, directed by Susanna White (Nanny McPhee, Jane Eyre…) and<br />

adapted by Sir Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love)(release 2013).<br />

On the 2nd of September 2012 the brand new TV series “Deadline” hits the<br />

screen on VTM, with a major role for <strong>Hilde</strong>. (VTM/Menuet, directed by Maarten<br />

Moerkerken).<br />

On September 4 the new series “Vijfhoek” starts on EEN, also starring <strong>Hilde</strong>.<br />

(Kanakna, directed by Christian Vervaet and Roel Mondelaers).<br />

This year she played “Antje” in “Tendresse” by Marion Hansel, alongside<br />

Olivier Gourmet. She finished shooting “In Flanders Fields”, a new prestigious<br />

tv series, directed by Jan Matthijs (EEN/Menuet).<br />
