UN Department of Political Affairs, Trusteeship and Decolonization (1979) noted evidence
of pre-European habitation on Orona (Hull).
Di Piazza and Pearthree (2004) provided an up-dated map of archaelogical sites on Orona
(see Figure III-2.11). They also reviewed site descriptions from MacGregor (n.d.) and
provided detailed descriptions of prehistoric sites on Orona.

Di Piazza and Pearthree (2004) presented a detailed diagram of Orona site Hull-1 (see Figure
III-2.12), and a profile of the prehistoric artifical mound (Hull-2) (see Figure III-2.13).
