» Music comes to the mountain in June at<br />

the <strong>Idaho</strong> Music and Wildflower Festival<br />

at Pebble Creek Ski Area. Arrive early<br />

to take in a wildflower hike before the<br />

performance. The 65-member <strong>Idaho</strong><br />

State Civic Symphony, established in the<br />

1900s, performs in the stunning Jensen<br />

Grand Concert Hall. Many of the music,<br />

dance, and theater events in Pocatello are<br />

held at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens<br />

Performing Arts Center, set on a hilltop<br />

overlooking <strong>Idaho</strong> State University and<br />

the cityscape beyond.<br />

southeastern <strong>Idaho</strong> is known for, check<br />

out the Green “T” Bar and Grill in<br />

Pocatello, famous for its burgers and a<br />

more than 150 international and domestic<br />

and an all-Indian rodeo, come to the<br />

annual Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival,<br />

held in August. The Malad Valley Welsh<br />

Holt Arena, Pocatello<br />

Festival, the last weekend in June, promises<br />

food, music, films, heritage games<br />

and crafts, plus workshops on Welsh<br />

history and culture.<br />

» Experience <strong>Idaho</strong>’s most famous product<br />

at the <strong>Idaho</strong> Potato Museum in Blackfoot,<br />

and learn more about the potato than you<br />

» The Pocatello Arts Center displays fine<br />

paintings, photographs, and porcelain art<br />

by professional artists as well as local art<br />

students. The center’s premier event is the<br />

Sagebrush Arts Fest, which offers free art<br />

activities for children, food vendors, and<br />

live entertainment.<br />

» At beautiful Bear Lake, shared by<br />

<strong>Idaho</strong> and Utah, celebrations are held<br />

in neighboring Garden City, Utah: Bear<br />

Lake Raspberry Days the first weekend in<br />
