Help us “Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers” and keep Idaho waters pure and
mussel free! Watercraft inspections are an important element of the
Idaho’s invasive species prevention efforts. The Invasive Species Passport
tracks your inspections and allows inspectors to give an expedited
“low-risk” inspection to local boaters and spend additional time scrutinizing
“high-risk” boats that have come into the Pacific Northwest from
mussel fouled waters. The Passports are voluntary—you are not
required to have or keep one—but they can help you to get out on the
water faster! We encourage you to enjoy Idaho’s waters, and thank you
for your participation in keeping them as pristine as possible.
