We usher in the summer with many refreshing ideas at The <strong>Oberoi</strong>, Gurgaon.<br />
Many of our guests prefer healthy eating options. At threesixtyone°, we present a wellness menu where all dishes are less than 500<br />
calories.<br />
Amaranta celebrates the harvest festival of Ugadi with delicacies from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.<br />
The <strong>Oberoi</strong> Patisserie and Delicatessen offers everything citrus that you can imagine in a cake, cookie and more, with a tangy new<br />
menu in April followed by a dedicated mango menu in May and June.<br />
I am delighted to share that our restaurants threesixtyone°, amaranta as well as the Patisserie continue their award winning streak,<br />
with 6 more accolades at the Times Food and Nightlife Awards, 2013. I would like to thank all of you for your support and patronage.<br />

is why our new selection is all about exciting flavours, fresh ingredients and<br />
varied textures. Whether its leafy greens, warm meats or sweet fruits, an appetizer<br />
or a full meal, there is a salad for you.<br />

• Warm asparagus with palm heart and bloody mary sorbet.<br />
• Quinoa with raw mango, feta and pomegranate with grapefruit vinaigrette.<br />

than 500 calories promises a delicious way to healthy eating. Savour<br />

From lemon tarts to citron cheesecake and rhubarb crumble pie, a whole host<br />
of sweet delights are on offer. Enjoy the season’s best oranges, lemons, melons<br />
and mandarins, perfectly combined in a variety of tangy offerings all April.<br />

• Lemon curd mousseline with summer berries and almond tuile.<br />
• Thyme and lemon tart.<br />
• Cointreau pralines.<br />

LITTLE PLEASURES<br />
Family time is special when your little ones are having fun. We offer a special menu<br />
for our younger guests. Delicious lollies, cupcakes and brownies to refreshing iced<br />

CHOCOLATE EXPERIMENTS<br />
The <strong>Oberoi</strong> Patisserie & Delicatessen turns into a chocolate studio this month,<br />
so you can experiment with soft-centred fillings, nuts and candied fruits.<br />
Learn the tricks of the trade and leave with your very own box of chocolates.<br />

• Macchiato chocolate.<br />

UGADI SPECIAL<br />
The festival of Ugadi celebrates the new year’s fresh harvest. Raw mangoes, new greens<br />
and fruits, all intermingle with handmade spices to make delicious festive delicacies<br />
from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Enjoy the sour, sweet, tangy and always surprising<br />
flavours at amaranta- much like life itself!<br />
Savour Ugadi delights from 1st April to 30th April.<br />
Chef recommends:<br />
• Mango rice pulihora.<br />
• Ugadi pachadi with neem tamarind and jaggery.<br />
• Kakara kaya vepudu - sliced bitter gourd tossed in onion, tamarind and spices.<br />
• Guthi vankaya kura - baby aubergine cooked in a spiced tomato and sesame curry.<br />

SENSES OF AMARANTA<br />
There’s always something new for you at amaranta. This season, our chefs<br />
have taken their innovative flair to another level and created a special<br />
cocktail menu- ‘Senses of amaranta’. These well-crafted infusions are inspired<br />
by the spices of the nine coastal regions of India. A hint of cardamom, a touch<br />
of mint, the tanginess of tamarind or the soothing freshness of coconut- savour<br />
these flavours in speciality amaranta cocktails. Sip along with our array of<br />
signature breads.<br />

• Amaranta caipiroska - vodka, lemon, mint, tamarind.<br />
• Spicy curry - vodka, curry leaf, pineapple juice, creamy coconut.<br />
