Palm Springs- Wang’s in the Desert had the Grand<br />
Opening of its new Wang’s After 10 in the Buddha<br />
Lounge last Saturday, featuring special guest DJs, a<br />
new late night small plate menu and an upbeat lounge<br />
scene.<br />
The continuing Saturday event is 10PM to close. There is no cover and<br />
reservations are not needed. Wang’s in the Desert is located at 424 S.<br />
Indian Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs.<br />
Wang’s After 10 features upbeat lounge selections by guest DJs. Guests<br />
can dance to the latest sounds or relax in the lush tropical surroundings<br />
of the Buddha Lounge, with its stone outdoor fireplace and giant red<br />
Buddha statue. For those looking for a late night bite there will also be<br />
a special Late Night Menu featuring Asian Fusion small plates.<br />
Wang’s General Manager Pieter Van Winkel said, “Wang’s in the Desert<br />
is known for its incredible Friday Night Happy Hour with great music and<br />
handsome crowd. Now we want to continue that tradition with another<br />
fun weekly event on Saturday nights, Wang’s After 10 in our Buddha<br />
Lounge.”<br />
Newly renovated in 2012, Wang’s in the Desert has become one of the<br />
Coachella Valley's most stylish and celebrated restaurants; featuring<br />
handcrafted specialty cocktails. Guests truly feel transported by the<br />
sophistication and energy of this modern day, restaurant scene.<br />
Wang’s Event Coordinator Desiree Landry said, “Palm Springs has<br />
become a more vibrant, resort town in recent years. Our customers,<br />
both locals and out of town visitors, are looking for more sophisticated,<br />
upbeat entertainment choices, especially for their Saturday night fun.<br />
