Guide Books
The Waterway Guides are a series of books that have long been the bibles for Intracoastal
Waterway cruisers from Maine to Texas and throughout the Bahamas. The books feature
complete maps of the routes plus descriptions of the approach to every harbor, attractions
along the way, and more. They are priced at about $37 each. For information, contact

The Embassy Boating Guides are remarkably detailed, spiral-bound, full-color books on
coastal boating, fishing, and diving. They include color charts of coastal areas, suggested
GPS fishing hotspots, aerial photos of many harbor entrances, and even a list of fishing
guides and their phone numbers. They sell for about $40 each. For information, contact

The Chart Kit series features full-scale color nautical charts in book format—much easier
to handle than loose sheets. The price is $110 per area. The data is also available on
