shall be paidjust and reasonable compensafion for those financial advisory services and shall be reimbursed for the actual out ofpocket expenses it incurs in rendering those financial advisory services The Director ofFinance is authorized and directed to the extent they are not paid by the Original Purchaser in accordance with the Bond Purchase Agreement to make appropriate certification as to the availability offunds for those fees and any reimbursement and to issue an appropriate order for their timelypayment as written statements are submitted by thatfirm Section 15 Compliance with Open Meeting Requirements This Council fmds and determines that all formal actions ofthis Council concerning and relating to the passage ofthis Ordinance and that all deliberations ofthis Council and anyofits committees that resulted in those forrnal actions were in meetings open to thepublic all in compliance withthe law Section 16 Emergency This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation ofthe public peace property health safety and welfare in the City and forthe further reason that the Bonds must be sold promptly in order to refund the Outstanding Bonds and maximize interest costs sa wings in a fluctuating bond market and provided it receives the affirmative vote ofat least five of its members elected to Council this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor Passed 2010 Approved 2010 U 17 President ofCouncil Clerkof Council Mayor
or o Q QD f I LAWRENCE E MROZ o FIRE CHIEF r f E booo apj O Lakewood Fire Department 14601 Madison Avenue Lakewood Ohio 44107 216 529 6656Administration 216 529 6660Fire Prevention 216 226 9963 Fax www onelakewood com October 18 2010 Lakewood City Council Lakewood Ohio Dear Members ofCouncil Attached is an Ordinance that proposes two amendments to Chapter 15 Fire Prevention Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood The first change is necessary to bring the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood up to date with the latest version of the Ohio Fire Code It also contains a provision that will allow the newer versions of the Ohio Fire Code to become effective immediately upon adoption by the State of Ohio without further action of Council to allow for the enforcement of the most recent Code within the City of Lakewood The Lakewood Fire Department utilizes this Code on inspection of all commercial buildings within the City of Lakewood The second change indicates where individuals can find copies of the Code and removesthe burden and expense of providing free copies onthe Clerk of Council As these provisions effect the enforcement of the Fire Code on commercial properties within the City of Lakewood I respecttully request suspension of the rules in order to adopt this legislation this evening Respe dally submitt M Lawrence E Mroz Fire Chief U
