<strong>of</strong> time, a moment in eternity. All things are<br />

small, unstable, vanishing. All issue from one<br />

source, starting directly from the universal Soul,<br />

or derivatively consequent. Even the lion's jaw,<br />

venom, and all things baleful, thorns mud or what<br />

not, are consequents <strong>of</strong> things grand and beautiful.<br />

Do not regard them as alien <strong>to</strong> that which you<br />

worship, but reflect upon<br />

<strong>of</strong> all.<br />

37 He who sees what now is, hath seen all, all<br />

that was from eternity, all that shall be without<br />

end ; for all things are <strong>of</strong> one kind and <strong>of</strong> one<br />

form.<br />

38 Consider <strong>of</strong>tentimes the bond that knits all<br />

things in the world -order, and their mutual<br />

relationship. All things as it were intertwine,<br />

all are in so far mutually dear ; for thing follows<br />

thing in order,<br />

as the result <strong>of</strong> the continuous<br />

vibration that thrills through all, and the unity <strong>of</strong><br />

39 Put yourself in harmony with the things<br />

among which your lot is cast ; love those with<br />

whom you have your portion, with a true love.<br />

the work for which it was produced, it is well
