The sensor's signals are transmitted to the TCU. • In order to reach the sensor, detach the gearbox unit from the engine ( D 2.01). The sensor (C) is held in place by means of a bracket (3) fixed to the flange with a coupling sleeve for the thrust bearing. The sensor's connector (L) is fastened to a support bracket (8) on the right-hand side of the gearbox housing. For connection to the system, see Table P - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
In order to allow the sensor to detect the clutch position, a striker (4) with magnet is mounted on the bearing's hub.
