Test bench check of the rolling torque
Workshops where a test bench is available can replace the clutch thrust bearing flange with a
special tool to check the rolling torque of the gearbox parts after overhaul.
To remove the flange retaining the clutch thrust bearing ( D 3.01).
Important
When carrying-out the test, the gearbox must be completely fitted, with oil topped-up and at ambient
temperature.
• Fit the original O-ring (A) and grommet (B) on the AV 3244 tool, then mount it on the clutch shaft.
