7. Lessees shall maintain their balconies in a neat and orderly condition and shall not
use the balconies as a storage space for any objects other than furniture
manufactured for use in the outdoors. Toys and bicycles shall not be stored or used
on the balconies.
8. No objects including, without limitations, refrigerators or freezers shall be stored on
the balconies.
9. Wood fencing and any other type of fencing, sheds, and storage boxes are
prohibited on balconies.
10. All furniture used on the balconies must be fabricated solely of material that is rust
proof, in order to prevent staining of the exterior envelope of the building.
11. Furniture used on the balconies shall not be permanently installed.
12. Furniture used on the balconies should have smooth bottoms. Legs of chairs and/or
tables with points or pointy ends are prohibited unless furniture "coasters" are
attached to such legs to provide a smooth surface in contact with the deck surface.
If a question arises about whether these objects will make impressions in the deck
surface, furniture coasters under all legs will be required.
13. No radio or TV aerials, antennas, or satellite dishes shall be erected or placed on the
balconies or their railings.
14. Radios and TV's shall not be played on the balconies before 10 AM and after 10 PM.
Such radios and TVs must be played so that the sound from them does not disturb
other occupants from the use and enjoyment of their Apartments, including their
balconies, and so that the sound cannot be heard in the street.
15. Nothing can be thrown from the balconies. For example, no objects, debris, or liquids
may be thrown from the balconies.
16. Barbecuing or cooking on the balconies is prohibited.
17. Cigarettes, cigars and pipes cannot be extinguished on any surface of the balconies,
nor can they be left on these surfaces to burn out.
18. Birds and animals shall not be fed from the balconies, and bird or animal feeders are
prohibited on the balconies.
19. No object shall be used within 2 ½ feet of the railing or suspended from the railing to
keep birds from landing or nesting on the balconies, including without limitations
pinwheels, plastic bags, and wind-propelled objects.
20. Heavy or sharp objects may not be dropped or dragged on the surfaces of the
balconies
21. No material or objects shall be placed on the top, the face, the bottom, or the sides of
the existing vertical dividers between balcony sections. No decorations shall be
placed on the dividers whatsoever.
