IV. SECURITY<br />

E. Water closets, toilets and other water apparatus in the building shall not<br />

be used for any purposes other than those for which they were<br />

constructed, nor shall any sweepings, rubbish, rags or any other article be<br />

thrown into the water closets. <strong>The</strong> cost <strong>of</strong> repairing any damage resulting<br />

from misuse <strong>of</strong> any water closets or other apparatus shall be paid for by<br />

the Lessee in whose apartment it shall have been caused.<br />

F. Tenants shall maintain their terraces in a neat and orderly condition and<br />

shall not use the terraces as storage space.<br />

G. Tenants shall be responsible for all dirt and garbage created by any<br />

employee, contractor or tradesperson serving them and shall see to it that<br />

such agents leave the premises in an orderly and clean condition at the<br />

close <strong>of</strong> each day's work.<br />

A. Each tenant shall leave with the superintendent a key or keys to his or her<br />

apartment. No tenant shall alter or install a new lock on any door leading<br />

into the apartment <strong>of</strong> such tenant without notifying the superintendent. If<br />

such action is taken, the tenant shall provide the superintendent with a<br />

key for Lessor's use. If this rule is not observed and it becomes<br />

necessary for any reason to break into an apartment, the tenant shall be<br />

liable for all damages to the door, and for all damages to any other parts<br />

<strong>of</strong> the building caused by delay in obtaining access to the apartment.<br />

B. Apartment key or keys will be maintained by the Corporation in a secure<br />

manner and in the event tenant shall withdraw the key, tenant shall be<br />

required to sign a receipt therefore. <strong>The</strong> keys so deposited are intended<br />

for Lessor's use in case emergency entry is needed; they are not<br />

deposited for use <strong>of</strong> a tenant or resident member <strong>of</strong> tenant's family who<br />

forgot or lost his or her key.<br />

C. In the event access to the apartment by exterminator or building<br />

personnel is requested or required by tenant, a separate key shall be<br />

provided on such occasion and the emergency key shall remain<br />

undisturbed.<br />

D. No group tour or exhibition <strong>of</strong> any apartment or is contents shall be<br />

conducted, nor shall any auction sale be held in any apartment without<br />

the consent <strong>of</strong> the Lessor or its managing agent.<br />

E. Messengers, trades people and delivery people shall make use <strong>of</strong> such<br />

means <strong>of</strong> ingress and egress as shall be designated by the Lessor.<br />

F. All visitors must be announced and acknowledged before admittance. If a<br />

tenant anticipates more than ten (10) guests, he may furnish the doorman<br />

in advance with a list <strong>of</strong> their names to provide admittance, on such<br />

occasion only, without the necessity <strong>of</strong> announcement.<br />
