Council on Law Enforcement Education & Training AWARD RECIPIENTS James Walls Oklahoma State Reformatory Academic Award Carey Leighow Lawton Community Corrections Center Class Speaker Heather A. Phillips Mabel Basssett Correctional Center Outstanding Performance 8 JULY 2009 JUNE 11, 2009 The Correctional Training Academy in Wilburton hosted a graduation ceremony on June 11, 2009 for Correctional Officer Cadet Class W050409. Dennis Rose, Chief of Security, Joseph Harp Correctional Center was the graduation speaker. The 11 cadets in this class successfully completed the required 240 hours of pre-service instruction. Thirteen different facilities ranging in security level from maximum security to community security had students in W050409. The staff of the Correctional Training Academy in Wilburton would like to commend the Class of W050409 on a job well done and wish them the best of luck in their careers with DOC.
