Turkish Airlines A320 Full Flight Simulator Technical Specification The following features shall be available: • Quick program loading: total time for selection, loading, identification and all systems initialisation shall not exceed 2 minutes (If no FM loading required during the launch phase. Refer to paragraph 3.4.1). • Efficient check facility. • Simple and rapid aircraft version identification along with automatic display of main options on the IOS. • Use of only one memory support for all versions implementation. • Identification between various modules (source, code, executable code, loader) defined with THY. Discrete input programming shall be used for version consistency verification. Full cockpit lighting shall be provided during the hardware and software version change. 12.1.3. Air Conditioning The Seller shall provide airflow sensors in all sensitive areas, so as to detect any ventilation failure that could induce hardware equipment failure. These sensors shall be signalled and clearly identified. 12.1.4. Overheat Detection A two level overheat detection system shall be installed. • When the temperature reaches the first level it will activate an aural alarm and alert on line diagnostic system. • When the temperature reaches the second level it will disconnect the main input connector in the power cabinet, shutting down the simulator. 12.2. ON-LINE DIAGNOSTICS 12.2.1. General The Seller shall provide a powerful on-line monitoring and diagnostic test, which continuously monitors the whole FS and gives all the information necessary for maintenance and repair. All interface boards and electronic sub assemblies shall contain local intelligence to report their operational status to the on line diagnostic. The On Line Diagnostic shall allow a global supervision of the FS: • Voltage and Current values of all power supplies shall be monitored by online diagnostic system. • Failing channel of systems shall be monitored and trouble shooting guidelines shall supervise the maintenance personnel. • All Circuit breakers shall be monitored by On-Line Diagnostic system. • On line diagnostic shall display the value of any selected label (ARINC and I/O controlled by the interface computer). • Diagnostics tools shall be easy modifiable by maintenance personnel to reflect the changes when any H/W and S/W modification required. • Diagnostic Tools shall be accessible from both flight compartment and computer room. On Line Diagnostic Main Features a) It shall run on a separate and dedicate processor without interference with real time simulator programs. b) It shall be capable of simulator functions general survey: • All interface boards and controllers, • Each power supplies (including: computer, visual, batteries...), • Each circuit breakers, • Motion and control loading system (voltages, pressures, temperatures, warning, abort conditions, safety features,…), • Air conditioning and ventilation airflow (air conditioning unit, A/C computer rack, blowers and exhaust system), • Fire detection identifying different zone, • Temperature for Electronic cabinets, Air conditioning air outlets , • Real time and main programs failures. c) Operator dialogue shall be provided through the console by means of menu. d) Every malfunction shall be analysed, memorised, and displayed. e) Network failures shall be monitored. f) Error reporting format shall describe: • Time for beginning and end of failure • Device (int. board, circuit breaker, PSU, sensor.) - location - channel - type of error g) Current Failures shall be easily processed, • Only current failures shall be displayed (printable) after a Reset. • Total current failure shall be displayed. • All failures shall be memorised (archived) in order to be displayed/printed at any time. • Convenient facilities shall be provided for archive research (date, location, failure type....) • Access at the latest failures shall easy and quick. h) Masking • Unwanted or known errors should be maskable by operator. • In case of masked item, a warning shall inform operator indicating the masked item. • A current mask list shall be saved and restore.
