<strong>Party</strong> <strong>Time</strong>! <strong>Show</strong>-<strong>off</strong> <strong>Shimmering</strong> <strong>Cream</strong> (<strong>HL</strong>)<br />
Procedure:<br />
1. PART A: Dissolve Disodium EDTA in Deionized Water.<br />
2. Sprinkle Carbopol ® * Ultrez 20 Polymer on the surface of deionized water. Wait until<br />
polymer has wetted out.<br />
3. Add Butylene Glycol to batch. Start mixing and heat to 75°C.<br />
4. PART B: In a separate vessel, Mix ingredients 5-8 and heat to 75°C.<br />
5. Add PART B to PART A while stirring. Mix until uniform.<br />
6. Add PART C (Vitamin E Acetate) to batch. Homogenize batch for 1 minute at 10,000<br />
rpm with an Ultra Turrax ® *** Homogenizer.<br />
7. Neutralize batch with Sodium Hydroxide(18%), Mix until uniform.<br />
8. Cool batch to < 50°C with mixing.<br />
9. Add PART E ingredients (11,12) when batch temperature is < 50°C. Mix until uniform.<br />
10. PART F: In a separate vessel, premix ingredients 13-15. Add PART F to batch. Mix<br />
well to ensure homogeneous distribution of the glitter into the formulation.<br />
11. Add fragrance to batch. Mix until uniform.<br />
12. If necessary, adjust batch with deionized water to compensate for water lost by<br />
evaporation.<br />
