Test T. <strong>of</strong> Robert Lyndesay, merchant, Burgess <strong>of</strong> Irving.<br />

Died 23 Feb. 1595. Estate, £276, (js. 7d. Will made at<br />

Irving, 22 February 1595. Appoints Marion Stcvensoun,<br />

his spouse, and John Lyndesay, his son and heir-apparent,<br />

executors. John Lyndesay, his bro<strong>the</strong>r, as overseer—with<br />

3 Burgesses. Leaves his estate, after payment <strong>of</strong> debts, to<br />

his spouse, and John, David and Agnes Lyndesay, his sons<br />

and daughter. Peter Stevensoun a witness. Confirmed at<br />

Edinburgh 18 March 1595-G.<br />

Test. D. <strong>of</strong> John Lyndesay <strong>of</strong> Hires myln, in parish <strong>of</strong><br />

Kilconquhar and sheriffdom <strong>of</strong> Fife. Died November<br />

1595. Inventory given up by Margaret Lyndesay, spouse<br />

to Andrew Grig in Rires. John Lyndesay, youugei', and<br />

Beatrix Lyndesay, his bairns. Executors by decree <strong>of</strong><br />

Commissary, 12 Feb. 1595-6. Owed rent, £3, Gs. 8d., to<br />

Andrew Forbes <strong>of</strong> Rires. Estate wortli £470, 15s. 8d,<br />

Confirmed at Edinburgh, 25 February 1595-G.<br />

Test. T.—Barnard Lyndesay, in Inglisberry Grange, parish<br />

<strong>of</strong> Pettinane, sheriffdom <strong>of</strong> Lanark,* who died 6 November<br />

159G, given up by himself penult October, year foresaid<br />

before witnesses— Richard Lyndesay, his bro<strong>the</strong>r, Barnard<br />

Lyndesay, his son. Value <strong>of</strong> utensils and clo<strong>the</strong>s, £872.<br />

13s. 4d. Bro<strong>the</strong>r Rolland L. a debtor. Owed money to<br />

Mr Alexander Spittler, John Lyndesay in Welstoun.<br />
