Mill <strong>of</strong> Gleiibervie, executor and sole legatee. Will made<br />

20 October 1587, before Mr Duncau Douglas, Minister <strong>of</strong><br />

Glenbervie, &c. Confirmed at lidiub. 12 February 1588-9.<br />

Test. D. <strong>of</strong> Andrew Lyndesay, hat maker. Burgess <strong>of</strong> Edin-<br />

burgh. Died August 1588. Inventory given up by<br />

Margaret Air<strong>the</strong>, his relict, on behalf <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir children,<br />

Michael, George, William, Agnes, and Elspeth, executors<br />

by decree <strong>of</strong> Commissary, 31 July 159G. The inventory<br />

value, £20; and £20 owing to John Spottiswoode for<br />

house mail, David Lyndesay, L#aird <strong>of</strong> Pyetstoun, and<br />

Lyndesay, guid wife <strong>of</strong> Blairfedden, owed him<br />

small sums. Estate worth £1. Confirmed at Edinburgh<br />

6 August 1596.<br />

Test, <strong>of</strong> John Lyndesay, merchant burgess <strong>of</strong> Glasgow, who<br />

died in Edinburgh 22 August 1588. Inventory given up<br />

by Geillis Colquhouu, his relict. John Whiteford and<br />

Thomas Mure, in Glasgow, executors nominated in his<br />

will. Net Estate, £2473 15s. 4d. Possessed cloth, &c.,<br />

in a merchant booth at Glasgow, property with him<br />

brought from Flanders, a quarter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ship called "The<br />

Rock <strong>of</strong> Dumbarton," &c., &c. About thirty-five debtors<br />

among <strong>the</strong>m Walter Colquhoun <strong>of</strong> Kilmenderry, for <strong>the</strong><br />

tocher <strong>of</strong> said Geillis, his daughter, £240. John<br />

Colquhoun, in Glasgow, bro<strong>the</strong>r to Walter, and Bessie<br />

Colquhoun, spouse <strong>of</strong> William Cunyinghame, in Glasgow.<br />

Among a few creditors, Robert Stirling <strong>of</strong> Bal(]uharrage,<br />

for a year's rent <strong>of</strong> a piece <strong>of</strong> land in <strong>the</strong> Boroughmure<br />

<strong>of</strong> Glasgow. Will made at Edinburgh 16 August 1588,<br />

before John Quhytfurd, son <strong>of</strong> John Quhytfurd <strong>of</strong> that<br />

ilk, Thomas Mure, executors, and Robert Lyndesay <strong>of</strong><br />

Duurod, tutor to his children. Done in <strong>the</strong> dwelling-place<br />
