The Lords approve the report and decern accord-
James Lindsay, Tiiiktklintii Laird of Dowhill,
succeeded his couain, the twelfth hiird, in 1705. On
6th November 1707 he married Mistress Mary Watson,
daughter of the laird of Aithernie, and had issue—
(1) Margaret, baptised 19tli November ITOS.f
(2) Martin, fourteenth luird, l)aptiseil 2iid September

On 16th December 1738 James Lindsay of Dowhill
made a disposition to his son Martin, and must have
died soon afterwards. ||
