The <strong>EMC</strong> NetWorker environment provides the ability to protect your enterprise<br />
against the loss of valuable data. In a network environment, where the amount of<br />
data grows rapidly, the need to protect data becomes crucial. The <strong>EMC</strong> NetWorker<br />
product gives you the power <strong>and</strong> flexibility to meet such a challenge.<br />
A Data Domain system integrates into a NetWorker environment as the storage<br />
destination <strong>for</strong> directed backups. In this solution, the Data Domain system was<br />
configured as a number of NFS shares. The NFS shares were configured as<br />
advanced file type devices (adv_file). This takes advantage of the speed of disk <strong>and</strong><br />
easily integrates with a previously configured NetWorker environment.<br />
