The adept then contemplates mental sexual intercourse. Dissolving<br />
in the fire of Sakti's yoni all the actions of the sense organs,<br />
regulating the vital breath so as to make it enter the Sushumna, he<br />
recites the mantra Hrim 108 more times, touching the breast of the<br />
Sakti with his right hand, and then Hrim 108 times while touching<br />
her yoni.<br />
Sakti places her hands over the sadhaka's head and recites thrice:<br />
Uttisthata: Get up.<br />
Jagrata: Wake up.<br />
Virobhava: Be strong.<br />
Nityamukta svabhavanubhava:<br />
Realization of the everlasting and free original self.<br />
Now I am giving you the command to immerse yourself within me. I am<br />
your guru, and enjoy yourself now with the full bliss within me. I am<br />
your Sakti and you are mine. According to the command of my Kaula<br />
Avdhut, I as visva-yoni [universal-yoni] am asking you to implant your<br />
cosmic linga in my field. My Sat-guru is here to protect you from your<br />
negative desires.<br />
Think that at this moment you are not my husband; you are Siva in the<br />
form of my Sat-guru and I am nothing but Sakti.<br />
May my divine self bless you and lead you to the eternal joy of bliss.<br />
Sadhaka is by this time no longer an adept but has been<br />
transformed as Bhairava, and as Siva he worships his Sakti with<br />
nine symbolic flowers: (1) holding, (2) embracing, (3) kissing, (4)<br />
touching, (5) visualizing, (6) seeing, (7) sucking, (8) penetrating,<br />
(9) meditating, while uttering the mantra, 'Sivo 'ham: I am Siva',<br />
'Sivo 'ham: I am Siva', 'Sivo 'ham: I am Siva'.<br />
If Sakti desires she may enact the opposite role, known as<br />
Viparit-rati, that is the role of the sadhaka. In that case the union is<br />
effected by Sakti on top of the sadhaka, who lies like a corpse, or<br />
Savasana, and does not move at all. Sakti is now the male and the<br />
guru, herself acting in the great drama and transfusing the<br />
potentially charged energy of the ritual. After a prolonged stay in
