Open leeward kite box Uncleat jib halyard fine tune
Uncleat jib halyard coarse
Remove fraculator Pull backstay coarse all the way on
Hop back into cockpit (to leeward if light) Bring backstay fine on to mark
Hoist jib to mark Make sure traveller cleated in correct position
Check chocks up to correct mark
Outhaul on
Take pole off mast
Adjust jib halyard fine as required
Trip guy out of pole beak Human Guy Blow foreguy & topper
Place pole in deck stowage position Hold guy high above head as far from cleat as possible
FIRE the guy
Pull the kite round to leeward by the sheet
Leeward tweaker on all the way
(Once the entire kite is to leeward of the centreline around the front
of the jib)
Help the guy round
Smoke the kite halyard 10 feet
(Once kite is safely not going into the water)
Let the kite halyard go
Move to leeward, start gathering kite into box
Take over gathering kite into box Start to bring in mainsheet
GYBE GYBE GYBE
Take over pulling in rest of mainsheet Start to round up
Make sure boat heeling slightly to leeward
Jib sheet coarse on, but jib luff always BUBBLING

Get into proper position and call the compass heading
