The location where <strong>the</strong> most VOCs<br />

were detected was well LL3mw239.<br />

Drinking water MCLs have only<br />

been established <strong>for</strong> trichloroe<strong>the</strong>ne<br />

and toluene which were detected at<br />

one well location each at<br />

LL1mw085 and LL3mw239,<br />

respectively. Both concentrations<br />

detected were below <strong>the</strong>ir MCLs.<br />

Chloromethane was <strong>the</strong> most<br />

widespread VOC detected and was<br />

identified in various wells at all four<br />

load lines. Detected VOCs that<br />

exceeded <strong>the</strong> Region 9 PRGs<br />

included chloro<strong>for</strong>m at LL2mw267<br />

and LL3mw239.<br />

3.2.8.2 Semi-Volatile Organic<br />

Compounds<br />

One SVOC contaminant exceeded<br />

<strong>the</strong> method detection limit.<br />

Bis(2ethylhexyl)phthalate was<br />

detected at a concentration of 6.51<br />

micrograms per liter (µg/L) at well<br />

location LL1mw084. This<br />

compound exceeds <strong>the</strong> Region 9
