with the lab for future reports.
Samples were not preserved in the
field with nitric acid; however, the
receiving lab performed nitric
preservation immediately when
samples were received. The Shaw
project chemist has reviewed this
issue and has determined that there
was no project impact related to the
delay in nitric preservation.
The lab will be reminded of the
required policy for future work.
