manifest. Copies of <strong>the</strong> waste manifest shipping records <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> PCBs soils are presented in<br />
Appendix M in <strong>the</strong> electronic attachment to this RACR.<br />
4.3.1.2 Low-Level PCB Soils<br />
The remainder of <strong>the</strong> soils and dry sediments generated were considered to be non-hazardous<br />
with low levels of PCBs (< 40 mg/kg). Between December 4 and 21, 2007, a total of 410 truck<br />
loads of this material were transported to <strong>the</strong> Republic/Countywide Landfill in East Sparta, Ohio<br />
under an AWMS non-hazardous waste manifest. In all, 9,489 tons of non-hazardous soils were<br />
transported off-site <strong>for</strong> disposal at <strong>the</strong> Republic/Countywide Landfill. Copies of <strong>the</strong> waste<br />
manifest shipping records <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> non-hazardous soils are presented in Appendix N included as<br />
an electronic attachment to this RACR.<br />
4.3.2 Waste Liquids<br />
Waste liquids contained and shipped <strong>for</strong> off-site disposal consisted of purged groundwater,<br />
equipment decontamination liquids and laboratory wastes. All <strong>the</strong> liquid wastes were shipped by<br />
Emerald Environmental Services to <strong>the</strong> Hukill Chemical Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio <strong>for</strong><br />
treatment or disposal on January 10, 2007. The two 55-gallon drums of purged groundwater and<br />
one 55 gallon drum of decontamination liquids were shipped under a non-hazardous wastes<br />
manifest. The five gallon pail of laboratory wastes was shipped as a waste flammable liquid<br />
under a hazardous waste manifest. Copies of <strong>the</strong> waste manifest shipping records <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> waste<br />
liquids are presented in Appendix O included as an electronic attachment to this RACR.<br />
