2.2 SUMMARY OF REMEDIAL ACTION WORK PLAN<br />

As required per <strong>the</strong> CERCLA process, Shaw prepared a <strong>Remedial</strong> <strong>Action</strong> Work Plan (RAWP)<br />

(Shaw 2007b) which presents <strong>the</strong> “means and methods” <strong>for</strong> executing <strong>the</strong> selected remedy in<br />

accordance with <strong>the</strong> <strong>Final</strong> Interim ROD. The RAWP was reviewed and approved by USACE,<br />

Ohio EPA, and <strong>the</strong> RVAAP prior to field implementation and outlines <strong>the</strong> construction<br />

methodologies <strong>for</strong> excavation, contamination control, and protection of <strong>the</strong> public and <strong>the</strong><br />
