Fifteen contestants competed<br />
for the title of Miss<br />
<strong>Lake</strong>-<strong>Sumter</strong>. They participated<br />
in street dress, bathing<br />
suit, talent, and evening gown<br />
competitions. Talents included<br />
singing and dancing, a<br />
dramatic reading, a patriotic<br />
speech, piano playing, sand<br />
painting, and caligraphy.<br />
Three semi-finalists were<br />
chosen, and each answered a<br />
personality question. Barbara<br />
Frazier was crowned Miss<br />
L-SCC with Dila Watson<br />
placing second and Cindy<br />
Monn third.<br />
