Twilight Reflections<br />
I sit and hug my knees against the air<br />
-<br />
Now cool, as finairays of light reach out<br />
From melting sun to touch the earth, to share<br />
A quiet moment free from care and dopbt.<br />
The earth seems drowsy, drugged by hours of sun ,<br />
All ready for the peaceful night to come.<br />
Now pausing, slower - all the day's work done -<br />
A treasured time of dreaming dreams for some.<br />
And sitting here alone, I too can feel<br />
A peace so gentle, pure, unfelt before,<br />
Caused by the wind in rustling trees ...<br />
so real<br />
My mind will keep this place for evermore.<br />
But still there's not the peace that there might be,<br />
For I have no one sharing it with me.<br />
