DEDICATION
In January of 1962, Dr. Williams, then living in Naples, Florida, was hired to come to this area to be president
of a junior college which exisied only onpaper. With the aid of local interested citizens, he was able to trans-
form the plans from the paper into classrooms, teachers and students. We who are taking advantage of this won-
derful opportunity are greatly indebted toDr.Williams for the role of leadership which he assumed. In no small
measure this leadership has taken us from thecollege on paper to a temporary plant and now to plans for a per-
manent campus.
It is with great devotion and admiration thatwe proudly dedicate Lake-Sumter's first yearbook to our president.
