Naiad 1964.pdf - Lake-Sumter Community College

According to classical mythology, a naiad was a
water nymph.who dwelt in and presided over foun-
tains, brooks, rivers, and lakes. Since our permanent
campus will be near Silver Lake, the naiad seems a
fitting symbol for our yearbook.
