COUNSELING services are available to all<br />
students through the Office of Student<br />
Personnel. The counselor's main role is<br />
to contribute to the student's own self-<br />
understanding and growth. The counselor<br />
attempts to give the student, during his<br />
college life, the necessary assistance that<br />
will sustain him in accordance with his<br />
specific need. These needs are met in<br />
accordance with the individual's unique<br />
abilities, interests, aptitudes and personal<br />
preferences.<br />
GUIDANCE services assist the student to gain<br />
self-understanding as a basis for meeting his needs,<br />
solving his problems, and aiding his develop-<br />
ment as a mature responsible member of society.<br />
