More info: Early Childhood summer camps spend much of the morning outdoors, engaged
in relaxed summer rhythm of gardening, sand and water play, picnicking, crafts
and cooking. A snack is provided by teachers and children bring their own bag
lunch daily. Age exceptions by prior arrangement with teacher only.
Sports Camps

Summer Sewing Camp (Rising 9 th – 12 th Grade)
When: July 1-5, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (July 4 TBD)

More info: Class limited to 6-8 students. Must have sewing machine experience (middle
school students with sewing machine experience may talk to Instructor). We will
spend the first day or two making personalized dress forms out of ‘T’ Shirts and
duct tape. We will then work with old gently worn shirts and ‘T’ Shirts to design
and reconstruct clothing that will fit you exactly, using your own dress form.
Please bring 5-7 gently worn adult sized shirts. Button down shirts, ‘t’ shirts,
long or short sleeved, with or without designs, to share with the group. New
white t-shirts and duct tape will be provided for the dress form. Please bring
your own lunch.

Chef Eron’s Cooking Camp
When: June 10-14, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Rising 6 th – 8 th Grade)
or
June 17-21, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Rising 6 th – 9 th Grade)

Cost: $250 plus $75 dollar supply fee

Learning to cook is both fun and useful. Students in the rising 6th, 7th, and 8th
grades are welcome to work with Chef Eron to learn fundamental cooking
techniques and to make delicious food. Sign up now and let the Chef know if
there is anything special you would like to make. He is always open to
suggestions.
Ms. Leon’s Summer Camp at the Museums
When: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Once again Ms. Leon is taking a magical tour of great art this summer! Children
ages 6-12 are welcome for one week of adventure or all three! We leave the
sixth grade classroom after gathering at 9 a.m. to hear about the day's trip, then
return at 1 p.m. to create art inspired by all we see and experience. Clay, oil
pastels, mural painting, watercolor, printmaking, and much more will be
explored. Come ready to have a wonderful time with new friends, taking in all
that our exciting and artistic city has to offer.
