More info: Early Childhood summer camps spend much of the morning outdoors, engaged<br />

in relaxed summer rhythm of gardening, sand and w<strong>at</strong>er play, picnicking, crafts<br />

and cooking. A snack is provided by teachers and children bring their own bag<br />

lunch daily. Age exceptions by prior arrangement with teacher only.<br />

More info: Class limited to 6-8 students. Must have sewing machine experience (middle<br />

school students with sewing machine experience may talk to Instructor). We will<br />

spend the first day or two making personalized dress forms out of ‘T’ Shirts and<br />

duct tape. We will then work with old gently worn shirts and ‘T’ Shirts to design<br />

and reconstruct clothing th<strong>at</strong> will fit you exactly, using your own dress form.<br />

Please bring 5-7 gently worn adult sized shirts. Button down shirts, ‘t’ shirts,<br />

long or short sleeved, with or without designs, to share with the group. New<br />

white t-shirts and duct tape will be provided for the dress form. Please bring<br />

your own lunch.


Chef Eron’s Cooking <strong>Camp</strong><br />

When: June 10-14, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Rising 6 th – 8 th Grade)<br />

Learning to cook is both fun and useful. Students in the rising 6th, 7th, and 8th<br />

grades are welcome to work with Chef Eron to learn fundamental cooking<br />

techniques and to make delicious food. Sign up now and let the Chef know if<br />

there is anything special you would like to make. He is always open to<br />

suggestions.<br />

Once again Ms. Leon is taking a magical tour of gre<strong>at</strong> art this summer! Children<br />

ages 6-12 are welcome for one week of adventure or all three! We leave the<br />

sixth grade classroom after g<strong>at</strong>hering <strong>at</strong> 9 a.m. to hear about the day's trip, then<br />

return <strong>at</strong> 1 p.m. to cre<strong>at</strong>e art inspired by all we see and experience. Clay, oil<br />

pastels, mural painting, w<strong>at</strong>ercolor, printmaking, and much more will be<br />

explored. Come ready to have a wonderful time with new friends, taking in all<br />

th<strong>at</strong> our exciting and artistic city has to offer.<br />
