BSPA Traditional Horse & Pony Championship Classes<br />
Class 8 <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Traditional no to exceed 133cms.<br />
Any type or sex. Rider any age suitable for size <strong>of</strong> pony.<br />
Class 9: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Traditional exceeding 133cms not<br />
to exceed 143cms.<br />
Any type or sex. Rider any age suitable for size <strong>of</strong> pony.<br />
Class 10: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Traditional exceeding 143cms.<br />
Class 11: Traditional Horse & Pony Championship.<br />
First <strong>and</strong> second from classes 8-10 compete.<br />
Awards: Champion Traditional & Reserve Champion go forward to the Supreme<br />
Ridden Championship A or B as appropriate..<br />
Class 12: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Ridden Novice Horse <strong>and</strong> Pony.<br />
Any height or type.<br />
Awards 1-6 incl. Novice Champion Horse, Novice Champion Pony <strong>and</strong> Novice<br />
Coldblood which will be judged concurrently.<br />
Champion Horse Champion Pony <strong>and</strong> Champion Coldblood go forward to the<br />
Supreme Championships .A B or C as appropriate.<br />
Class 13: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Ridden Lightweight/Middleweight<br />
exceeding 153cms.<br />
Any sex or type. All exhibits must be plaited. 1 st & 2 nd go forward to<br />
Championship B.<br />
Class 14: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> Ridden Heavyweights, Cobs or Vanner<br />
Type exceeding 153cms.<br />
Any sex or type. Exhibits may be hogged or plaited. 1 st & 2 nd go forward to<br />
Championship B.<br />
Class 15: <strong>Skewbald</strong>/<strong>Piebald</strong> <strong>British</strong> Coldblood Horse or Pony.<br />
Any type or sex, exhibits may be hogged but not plaited. 1 st & 2 nd go forward<br />
to Championship A or B as appropriate.<br />
Class 16: Ridden 4 & 5-Year-Old Horses & Pony Championship.<br />
Mare/Stallion/Gelding – Equine age as taken Jan 1 st . Snaffle Bridles Only. Rein<br />
