On line applications are invited for the Written test to be conducted on 20 Janauary 2013
for filling up the seats in Course Ser 03, Session (2013-15) of Maharaja Ranjit Singh AFPI

Eligibility Criteria
Date of birth - Not before 02 Jul 1996
Boys from Punjab Studying in 10 th class.
Wants to join NDA
Examination Fees – Rs 500/- (Five hundred only)
No of Seats - 48 (Approx.) May increase or decrease depending upon intake.
The Centres for examination are Mohali, Jalandhar, and Bhatinda. The Centres may be
added/cancelled depending upon the No of candidates available.
No TA, DA will be paid for appearing in the exam and subsequent tests/interview.
How to apply on line
1. Fill the online application form available on the website
http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in by clicking at the link Entrance Exam, Maharaja
Ranjit Singh AFPI.
2. The application can be filled on line only till 05 Jan 2013 upto 5.00 PM.
3. If by mistake the candidate has filled in wrong information he can correct the
information upto 07 Jan 2013 upto 5.00 PM, by entering his registration number and

password. After 07 Jan 2013 NO editing will be permitted and thereafter information
will be locked and no change will be acceptable/ allowed.
4. Candidate is required to apply through online only.
5. On successful submission of form candidates are required to take the print out which
will have registration number printed on it and candidates are advised not to
disclose the password to any one for data security. Print out of the form is to be
retained by the candidate for any further enquiry/ reference & retain the same till
the complete admission process.
6. Thereafter the candidate shall have to report to the designated AXIS bank alongwith
the downloaded acknowledgement slip cum Fee Chalan / advice for depositing the
fee.
7. In case the candidate fails to deposit the fee upto 08 Jan 2013 his application shall
stand automatically cancelled/ rejected and shall not be considered for further
processing.
8. For any problem in filling of form, help can be taken from the help line no
0172-6619054-55 available during working hours. Alternatively you may contact AFPI
office.
9. Candidates are advised to visit http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in website regularly
for any important information/update.
10. In case candidate is unable to get PRINT OUT of submitted form by clicking on ” Take
print again”.
11. The list of candidates whose fee is confirmed will be available on
http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in for candidates reference from 15.01.2013.
12. The candidate can download their ADMIT CARDS by visiting the website
http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in again by entering his registration number and
password from 15.1.2013. In case any candidate is unable to get the admit card, he
must contact C-DAC Mohali personally or on helpline numbers one day before the
examination day upto 5.00 PM, falling which office will not be responsible.
13. Candidate will be responsible for any mistakes made by him in the on line
application form. Maharaja Ranjit Singh AFPI or C-DAC shall not be responsible or
liable in any way.
14. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the written test and will be available
on website http://afpipunjab.org & http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in. The date shall
be announced separately on the C-DAC website.

15. The venue, date and time of interview will be put on the website
www.afpipunjab.org Candidates will not be informed separately (by other means)
about the result and interview schedule.
Instructions;
1. The candidate must satisfy himself that he fulfils all the eligibility conditions and
merely appearing in the examination and qualifying test does not entitle him for
admission to the Institute. The selection will be subject to his being found eligible.
Verification of original documents would be done at the time of interview which will
be intimated only to successful candidates. The purpose of verification is to verify
the identification, age, qualifying examination & state of eligibility, etc. of the
candidates. On failing to establish, any of the eligibility criteria at the time of
interview the candidate will not be considered for admission.
2. The question paper will be of objective type (400 marks) having 100 question
(English 50 & Math 50) with multiple choices on OMR sheet with one correct answer
of each question of X th standards. The duration of the paper will be of 2 hour, from
11:00 AM to 01:00 PM. There will be NEGATIVE MARKING. Each right answer will
carry FOUR marks each and one mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
3 The candidates should reach the examination centre one hour before the start of the
examination. At the examination centre, the candidate is required to produce his
admit card pasted with passport size photograph and duly attested by self along with
identity proof with photo, left hand thumb impression and signature verified from
Principal of the School being attended by the candidate.
4. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination without admit card and
identity proof in original.
5. Candidates should bring with them BLUE or BLACK Ball Pens.
6. Books, written notes, calculator, mobile phones and other electronic devices etc. will
not be permitted to be carried in the examination hall.
