In addition I have found contacts with the previous major sections in
that:
1. Zech. 12.1-9 and 14.1-15 both present a situation where
Israel is under attack by the nations, but is victorious through
the intervention of Yahweh.
2. The climax of ch. 14 is that there will no longer be a 'JMD in
the Temple. If this is read in ch. 11, then a firm link is established,
and 14.21 implies also a purified leadership.
I will try to set out the overall pattern of chs. 9-14, as it has emerged.
9 1-8 Judgment for Judah's enemies (with a hint of salvation)
9-10 Judah's righteous, saved, humble king comes; peace is established
11-17 Judgment for enemies and salvation for Judah/Ephraim
