DIVIDENDS PROVIDED FOR OR PAID - COMMON represents the total value of the common dividends
declared for the year. For most countries outside of the U.S. and Canada it includes the interim paid, if
any, plus the proposed final dividend declared after the year end. If not reported separately, it is the
dividend charged to retained earnings.
Data for this field is generally not available prior to 1992.
