10.1 STAFFING OF THE IUC<br />
Ch 10 : STAFFING AND FUNCTIONALITY<br />
The staffing <strong>of</strong> the IUC will be in terms <strong>of</strong> the following specializati<strong>on</strong>:<br />
Agriculture development and technology<br />
<strong>Rural</strong> institute building<br />
Ec<strong>on</strong>omic policy analysis<br />
Emerging technology and Networking Group<br />
For each <strong>of</strong> the above avenue there will be experts/functi<strong>on</strong>aries in charge with the<br />
following functi<strong>on</strong>al specializati<strong>on</strong>/resp<strong>on</strong>sibility:<br />
Innovative programme planning/policies<br />
R&D networking<br />
HRD networking<br />
Besides the above there will be an ICT support unit which in turn will work in<br />
collaborati<strong>on</strong> with nati<strong>on</strong>al agencies like Edusat, CEC etc. and their regi<strong>on</strong>al counterparts<br />
and private enterprises and made available all the IUC supports to make the networking<br />
process successful.<br />

10.2 STAFFING OF THE REGIONAL HUB<br />
The staffing <strong>of</strong> the regi<strong>on</strong>al hub will be based <strong>on</strong> progress and will c<strong>on</strong>sist <strong>of</strong> project based<br />
support to existing instituti<strong>on</strong>s.<br />
