modern glaz<strong>in</strong>g bar sashes. Central flush panel door with modern gabled porch.<br />

Stone tile roof with brick chimneys. Set back 2-storey one w<strong>in</strong>dow w<strong>in</strong>g<br />

to left of mid-C19. Included for group value.<br />

Mid C19 Tudor style with symmetrical elevation. Two and a half storeys,<br />

rubble with stone tile roof. Gable end chimneys with corbelled capp<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Two attic gabled dormers with little f<strong>in</strong>ials. Three w<strong>in</strong>dows of 2 and 3 lights<br />

with moulded heads and labels. Central Tudor arch door with transom light<br />

and arched upper panels.<br />

Late C18/early C19, extended to left <strong>in</strong> mid-C19 and to right <strong>in</strong> C20O Two<br />

storeys, cotswold rubble except for rendered C20 part. Stone tile roof with<br />

4 brick chimneys. Four w<strong>in</strong>dows on first floor, 3 on ground floor, casements<br />

except for sash <strong>in</strong> C20 part. Two doors, left hand one segment headed and<br />

half-glazed, central one flush panelled with modern bracketted flat hood.<br />

C20 ground floor has wooden partition and door. Low maid C19 rail<strong>in</strong>gs to<br />

road, arrow head type with urn-standards. Tablet to right of door <strong>in</strong>scribed<br />

"W H Davis, Poet, Born at Newport, Mon 1871, Died <strong>in</strong> this house 1940.<br />

What is this life if full of care.<br />
